Angela is available for hire as a mentor for independent filmmakers, or as a consultant for companies and arts related organisations. She offers 1-2-1 tailored sessions, bespoke groups gatherings, or research led consultancy. Angela has worked with BFI Network, Doc Society, Screenskills, Ffilm Cymru, Screen Alliance Wales & Ymddiried in the past to deliver training courses. Fees are available on request.

Angela has worked in the creative industries for over 20 years, and is experienced in both independent film and TV, across production and development. She has also held academic posts teaching documentary practice to undergraduate & post graduate students.

She is passionate about storytelling and is keen to break the cycle of gate-keeping that often prevent the development of an equitable, fair and inclusive industry.

Angela founded One Stop Doc Shop, a free digital platform designed to demystify to documentary film process with support of Screen Alliance Wales, Ffilm Cymru Wales & BFI Network funding from the National Lottery. Featuring award winning women/non-binary producers and directors, Angela hosts a podcast series which delivers candid insights into the highs and lows of the filmmaking process.

She also co-founded the Wales Documentary Support Network, designed to identify and engage new documentary enthusiasts as well as elevating established independent documentary filmmakers in Wales. Angela runs the organisation in partnership with Screen Alliance Wales.

In addition, Angela periodically runs free in-person and virtual training workshops, for early career independent documentary filmmakers.
